The Pawnee House

After spending 20 plus years in the FOH, in NYC, Florida, and Colorado, Chef Debbie made the bold transition to the kitchen.  She and her husband, Alex Cohen, sought out to open their little passion project in 2020.  Ever humble Debbie, who still describes herself as “just a home cook” steered the ship through opening during a pandemic.  The Pawnee House earned rave reviews for its unique and eclectic, but approachable, menu that includes plant based, gluten free and more traditional meat based elevated comfort food dishes.  Thanks to her cuisine, The Pawnee House has gone on to earn distinctions such as Yelps top 100 New England restaurants, NYT 36 hours in Martha’s Vineyard, and most recently Travel and Leisires Martha’s Vineyard issue.
