Gabriel Frasca is the Executive Chef and Managing Partner of Nantucket's famed Straight Wharf Restaurant. Originally from the North Shore, Frasca worked at the legendary Hamersley’s Bistro in Boston before staging and working at Michelin-starred restaurants in France, Spain, & Italy. After moving to New York to work for David Bouley, Frasca returned to Boston, where he opened Aquitaine Bis, then took over the kitchen at Radius, before becoming the executive chef at Spire. In 2006, he and his partners took over Straight Wharf. Frasca has won numerous Best of Boston awards (including Best New Chef, Best New Restaurant, and Best Restaurant, General Excellence) numerous Best of Nantucket awards, been named a Rising Star and a Star Chef, and has twice been a James Beard award semi-finalist. He has been featured in Bon Appetit, Food & Wine, and The New York Times.
